As well as important field-based roles, we offer bright graduates a wide range of opportunities in many other areas of our business. Even if you choose a nonfield role, you’ll probably be exposed to the field environment at some stage. However, nonfield roles are usually based onshore, in an office, laboratory, or manufacturing plant. For the majority of roles, we’re typically seeking people who have a speciality in a relevant discipline.
In addition to specific entry criteria, as outlined below, we expect you to be fluent in English (level 5 on a global English test). You must also have the legal right to work in the country in which you apply.
Supply chain management The supply chain management group offers graduates the opportunity to participate in a three-year structured rotational training program, with the possibility of an international assignment as part of your training. You’ll need a minimum four-year bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related discipline with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 (2.1). An MBA with a focus on supply chain management is a plus. This business area also covers manufacturing-based and reliability engineering graduate roles as well as entry-level positions within the logistics and trade compliance team. Find out more here
Engineering and R&D Our Products and Technology group offers a structured training program for engineers or scientists. This program builds a dual career path that may lead to a technical fellowship or a senior management position. Employees are not locked into one career path or another; in fact, employees often move between technical and managerial roles. If you have or expect a four-year degree or a postgraduate qualification in engineering (mechanical, electrical, software, chemical or petroleum), chemistry, physics, geology, geophysics, geosciences, or mathematics, you could benefit from joining Baker Hughes enterprise-wide Technology Development program.
